UBIS Strike: Message of solidarity
Dear colleagues on strike,
The works council of UBIS Munich, the ver.di team of UBIS Munich and the employees of UBIS Munich send you this letter of solidarity. We support our Italian colleagues with solidarity completely.
Your strike is the right answer to the plan of the management directors to sell more than 2.200 colleagues to a Joint Venture. Outsourcing never has economic success, but always leads to deterioration of the conditions of work through to staff cuts.
Our colleagues know: You are striking also for us.
As we are not allowed to strike, the trade union ver.di called all colleagues from the ex-UGIS Company in Munich and all those who want to show solidarity, to a break for a “Last meal” / “Pranzo d’addio”.
The German HR tried to obstruct this meeting, forbade speeches, banners etc, nevertheless more than 300 colleagues came and showed their denial of any outsourcing and their solidarity with you (see foto).
